| 2011 CLASS SCHEDULE Tots in Motion (Ages 1.5-4) Parents of toddlers and preschoolers, this adult and child creative dance/movement class is designed to challenge and meet the needs of children with and without disabilities. Class will focus on gross motor coordination, creativity, and self-expression. Use of props such as streamers, scarves and maracas will be incorporated. This is a parent participation class. Siblings (including infants) and other children are not allowed in the class. Susan Van Dyne, RTC
Owner/Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Susan possess a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Recreation Administration with a Concentration in
Therapeutic Recreation from San Jose State University. She is a Certified Recreation Therapist. She has
over 20 years of experience working with individuals with special needs. Susan has been working for the
City of Santa Clara, Parks and Recreation Department - Therapeutic Recreation Services as a Therapeutic
Recreation Coordinator and Dance Instructor for 19 years.
